Terms & Conditions for Customized Templates

By submitting a custom card design through this designer and adding the resulting product to your cart, you agree to the following terms. These terms supplement, and do not replace, InstantCard's standard Terms of Service.

1. Your Content, Your Responsibility

You represent and warrant that you own, or have written permission to use, every image, logo, photograph, trademark, name, and other element you include in your design. You are solely responsible for ensuring your design does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

2. Prohibited Designs

You agree not to submit any design that:

Replicates, imitates, or could reasonably be mistaken for a government-issued identification document — including driver's licenses, state IDs, passports, visas, immigration documents, military IDs, social security cards, or any other official credential;
Reproduces the badges, insignia, seals, credentials, or identifying marks of any law enforcement, military, intelligence, federal, state, tribal, municipal, or international agency;
Imitates currency, financial instruments, securities, postage, tax stamps, or any other document whose reproduction is restricted by law;
Uses trademarks, brand names, logos, copyrighted artwork, or likenesses of real persons that you do not own or are not authorized to use;
Is intended to misrepresent your or any other person's identity, age, qualifications, certifications, professional licensure, employer, or organizational affiliation;
Is intended to facilitate fraud, deception, unauthorized access, identity theft, underage purchase of age-restricted goods, or any other illegal activity;
Contains threats, harassment, sexually explicit material involving minors, content advocating violence, or other content prohibited by applicable law.

3. InstantCard's Right to Refuse

InstantCard reserves the right, in its sole discretion and at any time prior to shipment, to:

Refuse to print any design we believe in good faith may violate these terms or applicable law;
Cancel any order and issue a refund of the purchase price (less any design, setup, or rush fees already incurred);
Request additional information or verification of identity, organization, or intended use before fulfilling an order;
Report suspicious orders to relevant authorities and cooperate fully with any law enforcement inquiry.

InstantCard does not undertake any general obligation to review designs for legality. Our decision not to refuse a particular order is not an endorsement of that design and is not a representation that the design complies with the law.

4. Intended Use and Limits

Cards produced from your design are private, organization-issued items — suitable for legitimate uses such as employee badges, member cards, event credentials, school IDs, club cards, and similar internal identification within your business, organization, school, or group. They are not government-issued, security-grade, or legally recognized identification documents, and they may not be used to assert any government identity, age, citizenship, immigration status, professional licensure, or other status that you are not actually entitled to assert. You agree not to represent or use the cards as government-issued ID, and you accept all risk associated with any unauthorized use.

5. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InstantCard, its parent, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the content of your design; (b) your breach of these terms; (c) your infringement of any third party's rights; or (d) any unlawful or unauthorized use of the printed cards.

6. Changes to These Terms

InstantCard may update these terms from time to time. The version of these terms in effect at the time you place an order governs that order.

By checking the "I agree" box, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
